Perform business analysis for projects and production systems: elicit and document requirements, design and optimize processes, support UAT and training, build business cases, and coordinate project activities through delivery.

The Network Administrator 2 manages and maintains network infrastructure, troubleshoots issues, implements security measures, and collaborates on network solutions.

Provide day-to-day datacenter IT infrastructure administration for a 24x7 utility: Windows server and Active Directory administration, Azure/Entra/Exchange management, virtualization and backup administration, security and patching, certificate authority and vulnerability remediation, monitoring, hardware/server deployment, automation/scripting, documentation, and participate in on-call rotation.

Performs electric and gas engineering calculations, designs and lays out utility facilities using GIS/CAD, prepares construction plans, cost estimates, bills of materials, acquires field measurements, and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure compliant, constructible designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Plan and design gas and electric distribution systems, produce 5-year construction work plans and 10-year load forecasts, perform system and fault analyses, size and locate infrastructure, coordinate projects with stakeholders, prepare cost estimates and regulatory-compliant documentation, and maintain system models and safety/compliance knowledge.

Support gas regulatory compliance and reporting by maintaining records, submitting damage reports, reconciling RRC penalties, preparing recovery evidence, validating invoices, tracking damages and gas loss, ensuring data integrity across systems, assisting audits, and coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to maintain audit readiness and regulatory defensibility.

Operate, maintain, and optimize SCADA, measurement, and field instrumentation for gas distribution. Troubleshoot and calibrate EFM/AMR meters, SCADA/HMI systems, and large-capacity meters; inspect and commission facilities; coordinate vendors and customers; design/install large commercial meters; train junior staff; maintain safety, inventory, and regulatory compliance.

Lead design, forecasting, modeling, and regulatory compliance for electric and natural gas cost-of-service studies, rates, and tariffs. Manage rate-design projects, prepare board presentations, support finance/treasury/accounting, monitor regulatory changes (PUCT, ERCOT, TXRRC), and participate in negotiations and testimony for regulatory proceedings.

Serve as a senior business analyst supporting utility systems (WMS/Maximo). Analyze and optimize processes, gather functional requirements, document solutions, manage portfolio data and UAT, mentor junior analysts, lead stakeholder workshops, develop training, and support IT governance and reporting for work requests, enhancements, and projects.

Manage system planning and engineering for electric distribution and substations, overseeing long- and short-range studies, engineering analyses, standards, staff supervision, and cross-department technical support to ensure capacity, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Lead and deliver large projects or small programs end-to-end: plan scope, schedule, budget and resources; track progress and risks; communicate status; produce MS Project and PowerPoint reports; manage vendors, enforce policies, and close projects while coaching and guiding cross-functional teams.

Prepare and reconcile project cost accounting records, charge materials and labor to work orders, enter CPR and fixed asset transactions, assist month-end close and audits, track contractor invoices and retainage, and support asset capitalization and reporting for utility construction projects.
