Your Team

The Enterprise Customer & Operations team (EC&O) enables ASX to run better. This is through improving customer experiences and interactions, delivering simplified processes and services, integrated delivery planning and capability, and driving consistency of standards.
The Enterprise Enablement (EE) team within EC&O is responsible for providing enterprise capabilities and frameworks, that enable and govern change, transformation, delivery, strategy execution, customer products, data management and process mapping.

 
 

Your responsibilities 

  • Act as the primary EPMO contact for an assigned, more complex portfolio. 
  • Perform portfolio management activities including RAIDs, reporting, governance artefacts and delivery insights in line with the ASX Delivery Framework. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of portfolio delivery health, including risks, dependencies, capacity constraints and crossinitiative impacts. 
  • Apply judgement to manage delivery risks, dependencies and ambiguity within complex portfolios, supporting resolution and informed decisionmaking. 
  • Actively support and advise Program and Project Managers on delivery governance and framework expectations. 
  • Analyse and synthesise portfolio data to identify themes, trends and systemic risks. 
  • Support compliance with the ASX Delivery Framework, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities. 
  • Drive lessons learned, knowledge sharing and community engagement across portfolios to uplift delivery maturity. 
  • Support and coach developing EPMO Analysts as required. 
  • Contribute to executivelevel portfolio reporting, providing insight beyond status. 
  • Evolve practices to incorporate persistent teams and continuous delivery ways of working 
  • Focus on ongoing process improvement and continuous uplift of EPMO practices and ways of working. Collaborate and work closely with the ADF Transformation team to support the evolution of the ASX Delivery Framework.    
  • Contribute to a collaborative Enterprise Enablement culture by rolemodelling ASX values and actively breaking down silos. 
  • Work across teams and divisions to share knowledge, resolve issues and improve endtoend enterprise outcomes. 
  • Prepare highquality Executive and governance papers, briefings and updates, tailored to audience and governance needs. 
  • Engage with Enterprise Customer & Operations and crossdivisional peers to support delivery, coordination and execution outcomes. 
  • Work with Finance and project team on budget oversight 
  • Undertake other activities reasonably required to support the effective operation of the Enterprise Enablement function. 
 

Your experience and qualifications 

Must have 

 

  • Tertiary qualification in business, delivery, portfolio management, governance or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience operating as a senior PMO or portfolio analyst in a medium to large organisation. 
  • Experience managing or supporting delivery portfolios of higher complexity, including greater delivery risk and interdependencies. 
  • Strong experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence) to analyse portfolio delivery health, risks and dependencies, and support executivelevel reporting. 
  • Practical experience supporting program and project teams in complex delivery environments.  
  • Strong understanding of delivery frameworks and governance practices. 
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and contributing to executivelevel reporting. 
 

 

Nice to have 

 

  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior PMO / EPMO analysts. 
  • Experience operating in regulated or highly governed environments. 
  • Exposure to enterprise portfolio management or delivery framework uplift initiatives. 
  • Relevant certification or training in portfolio, program or project management (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent).
