Job Summary

The Application Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the organization's Epicor ERP system and business intelligence/dashboarding platforms. This role serves as the bridge between business users and technology, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, process improvements, reporting accuracy, and actionable analytics. The analyst partners with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Human Resources to identify business requirements, develop solutions, and deliver meaningful insights through dashboards and reporting tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Epicor ERP Administration & Support

  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Epicor ERP users.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Epicor modules and business processes.
  • Analyze and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and workflow challenges.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements within Epicor.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, patch management, and new feature implementations.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants when needed.

Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Create automated reporting solutions that improve visibility into operational and business performance.
  • Ensure dashboard accuracy, usability, and consistency across departments.
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor report performance and optimize data models for efficiency.

Data Management & Analytics

  • Extract, analyze, and validate data from Epicor and related business systems.
  • Maintain data integrity and governance standards.
  • Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts to support business needs.
  • Support data reconciliation and audit requests.
  • Assist with data migration and system integration projects.

User Training & Change Management

  • Train users on Epicor functionality, reporting tools, and dashboard utilization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for business processes and system capabilities.
  • Create end-user documentation and knowledge base resources.
  • Support change management initiatives related to system enhancements and process improvements.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Epicor Data Discovery (EDD), or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business processes including finance, supply chain, inventory, production, and customer service.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Epicor ERP administration and support.
  • Advanced SQL and database query skills.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of ERP integrations and data structures.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data management practices.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365 tools.

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
