EOI - Newcastle OfficeKBR is expanding its presence in Newcastle and building a strong pipeline of projects across the Water, Defence, Energy, Transport and Infrastructure sectors. As we expand our Newcastle office, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from talented and motivated Project & Design Management, Environmental, Civil, Track, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Structural Engineers who are interested in being part of this exciting growth journey.
As part of our Newcastle office, you'll have the opportunity to work on nationally significant projects while helping to establish and grow KBR's presence in one of Australia's key regional centres. You'll join a collaborative and inclusive team that values innovation, technical excellence and professional development.

Potential Responsibilities May Include:
- Supporting the planning, design and delivery of engineering projects across Water, Defence, Energy, Transport and Infrastructure markets.
- Developing engineering designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Participating in design reviews, risk assessments and constructability assessments.
- Providing technical expertise throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from concept development through to detailed design and delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, client requirements and safety obligations.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Contributing to the growth and development of KBR's Newcastle operations and regional capability.
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Structural Engineering or relevant Project/Design Management qualifications.
- Experience delivering engineering projects within Infrastructure, Water, Defence, Transport, Energy sectors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Chartered status or progress towards professional accreditation is highly regarded
- Australian Citizenship is preferred and will be required for Defence-related work.
