Job Description
As our Environmental Senior Purchases Manager you will oversee all commercial aspects related to environmental laws and regulations concerning Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) that P&G must align with for manufacturing and disposal of our products.
You will ensure that we have the appropriate commercial contracts in place to effectively manage our partnerships with Producer Responsibility Organizations (non-profits) responsible for handling post-consumer waste in states with EPR requirements (sustainability). Your focus will be on staying ahead of upcoming regulations in new states and developing a comprehensive sourcing strategy that meets the producer responsibility needs for P&G across all relevant jurisdictions. You will focus on our waste to worth efforts finding value in our distribution environments, and helping us with our mission of zero manufacturing waste.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in advancing the overall product responsbility program across North America and encouraging relationships with the necessary PRO (Producer Responsibility Organizations) companies to support our business objectives. This position will also encompass waste services procurement and sustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing our environmental impact.
Your efforts will directly contribute to P&G’s financial performance and corporate sustainability goals.
Job Responsibilities:

Timely revision, negotiation, and execution of contracts, as well as maintaining accurate records in our contract management system, Agiloft.

Define and Document PRO Processes: Collaborate with industry experts to establish and manage the Producer Responsibility processes as regulations evolve in new states, clarifying P&G's roles.

Contract and Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchasing contracts and POs in line with P&G’s Purchasing Policy.

Stewardship and Compliance: Implement controls and systems to ensure compliance with both external regulations and internal standards.

Create new processes and standards to ensure consistent compliance, including contract language, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics for PRO companies.

A solid understanding of P&G’s supply chains and distribution systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a non-traditional purchasing role.
Job Qualifications
Required

Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration or relevant field

Minimum of 5 years of EPR (Environmental) Purchases experience
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with supply chain operations or distribution centers
Preferred

Experience with iTrade

Experience with Agiloft
