  • Regulatory Engagement: Represent Keyera in regulatory applications, licensing processes, and construction planning.
  • Industry Collaboration: Participate in regional industry association committees to stay ahead of emerging trends and share best practices.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), including monthly and annual monitoring.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide input on air emissions, reclamation, remediation, and project management initiatives.
  • Liability Management: Contribute to multi-year, multi-site environmental liability reduction strategies.
  • Emergency Response: Support environmental aspects of emergency response planning and execution.
  • Incident Management: Respond to environmental incidents, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement through follow-up actions.
  • Coordination & Leadership: Work closely with facility reps, consultants, and internal teams to manage projects, review reports, and oversee authorization and payment processes.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on facilities and/or pipelines.
  • Experience with facility start-ups or turnarounds is a strong asset.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across field and corporate teams.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with operations and maintenance personnel.
