Through our training program, you’ll grow into a junior IT professional in just 1.5 years. What you are going to do
If there’s one place to immerse yourself in the world of IT, it’s at the IT Service Desk of Nationale Nederlanden. With a generous training budget and personalized one-on-one coaching, this is your opportunity to establish yourself in the IT field within 1.5 years. You’ll have full control over your own path. And the best part? After completing the program, you’ll transition into one of NN’s IT teams. Will you join our Cloud team? Or become a security or network expert? The possibilities are endless!
Here’s how the training program helps you get exactly where you want to be:
In the first 3 months, you’ll get to know our organization, products, and systems at the Front Office of the IT Service Desk. You’ll answer IT-related questions from colleagues via phone, email, chat, Teams, or the Service Portal
Next, you’ll move to the IT Service Point in The Hague, where you’ll provide colleagues with laptops and peripherals and handle IT-related inquiries at the service desk. We also maintain a Teams channel where users can track the status of any disruptions
Once you’re comfortable at both the Front Office and the Service Point, you’ll be flexibly deployed across both teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit an NN IT Service Point at another location
You’ll start various training courses right away. Which ones? That’s up to you! You’ll earn certifications in ITIL, Agile Scrum, and MS-900. Depending on your future goals, we’ll help you choose additional courses that suit you best
Bonus: You’ll also have the chance to shadow IT teams within NN, so by the end of the program, you’ll know exactly which direction you want to take

You have a bachelor-level education (HBO)
You have an affinity for IT, which is reflected in your CV
You are fluent in Dutch and English, so you can communicate with all our (international) colleagues
Who you will work with
Around 50 colleagues in total. We’re a diverse group in terms of age, background, and outlook on life, which creates a great atmosphere.
