Job Summary:
Entry Level IS Engineer will work on designing MES applications including databases and database interfaces, data analytics & reporting, scripting (Python, SQL etc.) and general programming.
This role will challenge you to be a passionate and successful business family member all while expanding your technical abilities.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Data Analytics & Machine Learning - With basic understanding and knowledge in programming languages (Python & C#), PLC and SCADA concepts.
Requirements:
- Understanding of back-end computing infrastructure used in manufacturing (computer hardware, virtualization, OS’s, networking, databases, etc.)
- Good knowledge in system integration, SCADA and/or MES application development.
- This position will require the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities.
- Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility with tasks and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical and Rockwell PLC Programming is a plus.
- Must also possess good general computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Program hardware/software integration and systems diagnostics to support machine-based control systems.
- Design control systems that provide instantaneous feedback on the production life cycle.
- Involve in the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive program documentation for diagnostics, information systems, data collection and communication with other peripheral equipment.
- Control System Engineering initiatives.
- Support Design Group project teams.
