Department: Enterprise Applications and Development

Reports To: Manager, Enterprise Applications and Development

Travel: As Necessary

LOCATION: Green Bay

STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other hours, as necessary.

PAY RANGE: $76,544 - $82,499

*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for management, design, configuration, integration, security, and optimization of systems such as Workday (Finance, HR, Student), CRM platforms (Salesforce), academic scheduling tools (Coursedog) and other purchased and custom-built software solutions. The Administrator collaborates with functional and technical stakeholders to ensure systems support institutional goals, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. This role manages and implements complex projects, promotes good data practices, and partners with cross-department teams to maintain consistent and effective enterprise system changes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as a primary point of administration for assigned enterprise applications, working in coordination with the Enterprise Applications Manager on configuration, architecture planning, and long‑term system direction.

  • Support and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integrations, and administrative procedures.

  • Leverage technical expertise to lead major system implementations, module deployments, and cross‑functional process improvement initiatives including design, coordinating project timelines, stakeholder communication, testing, training and deployment of system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.

  • Lead and coordinate response efforts during major system disruptions, coordinating cross-team technical resolution activities and ensure Leadership remains informed of impacts, risks and recovery progress.

  • Collaborate with functional departments to define data needs and ensure consistent data definitions and usage.

  • Collaborate with partners on architect and maintenance of complex integrations including APIs, middleware, and automation tools to ensure seamless data flow across enterprise systems.

  • Mentor functional partners on system best practices, data literacy, and process optimization.

  • Ensure enterprise systems meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements, as established by the IIT leadership, the IIT security team, and the College.

  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies in partnership with IT security.

  • Lead the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of Workday and other enterprise application features and releases to determine business value, technical fit, and operational impact.

  • Drive identification of risks, impacts, opportunities, and innovations to optimize the organization’s investment in Workday and other enterprise applications.

  • Administer the organization's Workday tenants and their system-level configurations, including but not limited to production, sandbox, sandbox preview, and Customer Central.

  • Manage, evaluate, and implement user security requests.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in IT or a related field. 

Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting or administering enterprise applications.

  • Experience supporting multiple enterprise platforms, such as CRM, student information, academic scheduling, or human capital management systems.

  • Experience with Salesforce, CourseDog, or other higher education technology platforms

**An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Computer Skills

  • Strong keyboarding, technology skills, and Microsoft Office suite, and primarily Excel.

Other Requirements

  • Strong organization and time management skills; able to manage tasks simultaneously

  • Strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting/problem-solving mindset and capabilities

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting or administering Workday.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting CRM, academic scheduling, or comparable enterprise systems.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with systems analysis, process improvement, or project implementation.

  • Experience working in a higher education environment.

  • Workday certifications
