Cottingham & Butler is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to lead the administration, optimization, and strategic growth of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role will serve as the primary owner of the Salesforce platform, driving user adoption, system enhancements, automation, reporting, and data integrity while partnering closely with business stakeholders to improve sales, service, and operational processes.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, including user management, security, profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, record types, flows, and other declarative solutions.
  • Design, build, and optimize business process automation using Salesforce Flow and other low-code tools.
  • Partner with business leaders and end users to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable business insights.
  • Manage data quality through governance, deduplication, data imports, cleansing initiatives, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using APIs, middleware, and native integration tools.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and release management activities for Salesforce enhancements and updates.
  • Evaluate and implement new Salesforce features, products, and capabilities, including Salesforce Einstein and AI-driven functionality.
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and best practices to drive adoption and maximize platform effectiveness.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide advanced support to users across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a complex, enterprise environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security model, automation tools, reporting, and data management.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and delivering Salesforce solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce integrations and data synchronization processes.
  • Strong understanding of CRM best practices, governance, and data stewardship.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required or strongly preferred; Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, or Platform App Builder certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, Approval Processes, Dynamic Forms, and Lightning Experience customization.
  • Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or Salesforce development concepts.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.
  • Experience in insurance, employee benefits, financial services, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, Copilot, or other AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
