Job Details:Job Description:The Sr. Staff (or Staff) Developer, Windchill PLM System will design and develop our enterprise-wide PLM Systems configurations and workflows improvement initiatives ensuring it aligns with business goals and technical needs. This key role requires a deep understanding of windchill PLM features and capabilities, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design of PTC Creo, Windchill & Thingworx Navigator configuration, minor customizing, implementing, and maintaining the system to meet specific Engineering and operation business needs. Here's an overview of these roles
- Develop the overall design of several PTC PLM modules (like Windchill premium, advance, navigator, collaborator) implementations, ensuring they align with business requirements.
- Create detailed design specifications for configuration, minor customizations, and integrations with ERP and other customer apps.
- Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Windchill applications, Ensuring the UI meets standards and enhances user experience,
- Optimize business processes within Windchill to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Design workflows and automation processes to streamline operations and reduce errors as well as improving data integrity.
- Produce comprehensive design documentation, including diagrams and specifications, to guide development and implementation. Maintain the SOPs and the knowledge base according to the support process definition
- Investigate or fulfil the issues or requests as per the tickets raised by the users.
- Identify the workaround or resolution to the issues or problems reported (as applicable)
- Monitor the support queue to ensure response and resolution SLAs are compliant.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST) platforms.
- Experience with Windchill APIs and customization frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with designers and other stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts and Windchill architecture and extended modules.
- Experience in system and UI design.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Proficiency in design tools and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s/BS with 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a STEM-related field.
- 8 years of experience in PTC Windchill PLM architect, design, development, implementation, configuration, interfaces/API, and support.
- Strong proficiency in PTC PLM applications, including Windchill, Thingworx, Creo, CodeBeamer, SUMA and, and Reporting.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale complex PLM IT projects, including gathering requirements, system design, testing, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of Engineering, Suppliers, Quality, Reliability processes such as CAD, Part, BOM, Doc, Issue, Audit, Change, AML, Projects, Compliance, Reports management capabilities
- Experience with data integration and interfacing between PLM and other enterprise systems, Like Oracle ERP and CRMs
- Experience in managing & interaction with 3rd party vendors, content providers, and business stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and managing a diverse and global IT team.
- Experience implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
