Position Summary
The Enterprise Sales Manager is a strategic role responsible for driving revenue growth across Vertiv’s key verticals, including data centers, colocation providers, telecom infrastructure, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) sectors. This role is focused on identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities by engaging with enterprise customers, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions from Vertiv’s portfolio. The ideal candidate is a self-driven sales professional with deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies to drive growth and long-term customer value. Identify new business opportunities and position Vertiv’s solutions to address customer challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and procurement leaders. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for customer success.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Prepare compelling proposals and business cases that align with customer goals.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies. Use insights to inform sales strategies and provide feedback to internal teams.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Bid Management, Product, Marketing, and Technical Services to ensure alignment and support throughout the sales process.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline. Provide regular forecasts and performance reports to sales leadership.
- Support post-sales engagement by identifying opportunities for expansion, renewal, and long-term partnership. Ensure Vertiv remains top-of-mind for future projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in data center, telecom, or M&E industries.
- Proven track record of individual sales success, including closing complex, high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of Colo, Telecom, and M&E verticals, including infrastructure and operational dynamics.
- Excellent strategic selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles.
- Proficiency in English and the local language, with the ability to communicate technical and business value effectively.
- Chinese language skills are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
