Sales Executive, Enterprise


The Convene/ etc.venues Sales Team is looking for a Sales Executive to join the Enterprise Sales Team. The Sales Executive role will report to the Senior Sales Manager, Enterprise UK. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive. As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team's efforts to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. Your primary focus will be to identify and engage with Enterprise clients, providing personalised solutions to achieve sales goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Managers are responsible for the overall strategy & success of the Enterprise Account. Enterprise Sales Manager dictates pricing strategy, visibility, account planning and post transaction engagement. While Sales Executives are incentivized to support & close Enterprise opportunities, Sales Executives work with the Sales Manager to ensure alignment on all the above.


  • Opportunities will be assigned based on the Seller’s name, and will count to Account & Sales Executive’s goals. The Sales Executives is responsible for communicating with Clients, negotiating space & pricing, and executing the Event Agreement, with support from the Sales Manager where needed.


  • Enterprise Account lead rotation based on cumulative headcount (subject to change):
    • Leads that are less than or equal to 100 attendees cumulatively to be assigned to the Sales Executive
    • Leads that are greater than 100 attendees cumulatively to be assigned directly to the Sales Manager


What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and research potential clients within the US and UK markets, both through existing leads and independent prospecting.
  • Develop strong client relationships by understanding their needs and customising solutions to meet their specific event requirements. 
  • Have a deep understanding of our locations, services, and pricing to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, addressing client needs and highlighting the unique selling points of our venues.
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing to close deals effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and revenue maximisation.
  • Leverage Sales tools to effectively manage your pipeline & support the Enterprise Sales team as well. Tools include but are not limited to ConveneOS (Salesforce), SalesLoft / Hubspot, CVENT, LinkedIn, KNOWLAND, ZoomInfo etc.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our CRM system, including tracking all interactions and progress with clients.
  • Be an active member of the team by sharing client feedback and sentiment with the sales team and participating in sales meetings & training courses.
