As we
continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to
join our team. You will shape the whole infrastructure that supports our systems, including our trading servers.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the current infrastructure estate and propose a practical path forward, using evidence to recommend what to refresh, retire or move to AWS.
- Advise on network design, including low-latency paths to trading servers.
- Advise on servers, virtualisation, storage, backup and identity.
- Advise on hosting, failover and recovery for MT4 and MT5 servers, helping define recovery targets and conduct regular failover tests.
- Advise on hardening, access and patching in line with DORA.
- Provide formal architecture input to every project within your area, from discovery to go-live.
- Validate ideas through proofs of concept and measured results.
- Coach engineers and share patterns that teams can apply independently.
Requirements
Must have:
- Fluency in English; additional languages would be considered an advantage.
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and architecture within 24/7 environments.
- Experience with routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs, including FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware or XCP-ng, and Active Directory.
- Experience designing and testing disaster recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to influence the direction of systems through evidence rather than authority.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to lead through influence.
Nice to have:
- Experience with hybrid connectivity to AWS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation.
- Knowledge of MT4/MT5 and trading infrastructure.
- CCNP, CCIE or AWS networking certification, or equivalent.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, including enterprise-scale, high-availability networks
- Fluency in English
- Deep knowledge of routing and switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, and network segmentation
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and VPNs, including FortiGate and Palo Alto
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper routing and switching
- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS networking and hybrid connectivity
- Experience with network automation, scripting, infrastructure as code, network monitoring, and observability tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent experience
- Cisco CCIE certification
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty certification or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Cloudflare
