Your RoleTo strengthen our Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Innovation Team in the Corporate Information Technology we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Domain Architect covering the EA Domain Digital Supply Chain at ZEISS. In this role you give guidance, architectural expertise, and EA governance to manage enterprise architecture within ZEISS.
Furthermore you will
Design the global IT technology, application and data architecture to ensure that the overarching solution building blocks at the platform and application-level work together functionally and operationally
Design and develop a comprehensive vision for the target architecture, considering business requirements and EA sustainability in “Digital Supply Chain”
Understand the status-quo of current capabilities/application landscape to identify and prioritize the EA improvement potentials
Drive and lead the definition of the ZEISS architectural IT-framework and high-level roadmap within the EA domain ERP SCM
Conduct IT/Digital Technology Scouting of new domain-relevant technologies and help the business units in shaping their IT/Digital Roadmap
Lateral leading of Solution Architects placed within decentral CIT organization in the domain
Care for high quality of the architecture documentation (various artefacts), esp. in the Enterprise EA repository
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or similar
Profound years of professional experience in similiar area
Experience in enterprise and solution architecture design (covering technology, data, application layer) in Cloud Digital platforms and SAP S/4, SaaS product portfolio
Good process knowledge in Production Engineering and Operations and integrations to other SCM modules
Proven experience in EA Governance at large and global companies and applying professional EA Management methods (e.g. TOGAF) as well as experience in large IT transformation programs
Highly competent as well as transparency- and integrity-based behavior, especially towards management levels
Good interpersonal and fluent verbal/written communication skills in Englisch and German
Ability to work independently and engage with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
