Job Title: Enterprise Change Management Director

Location: Chevy Chase, MD (Primary), NYC, Dallas, Chicago (Secondary)
Department: Controls, Compliance, Risk, and Audit
 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Change Management Director to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive change management program across the organization. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a set of standards, processes, and methodologies that ensure smooth and effective transitions during organizational, technological, and operational changes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership, organizational development expertise, and a strong ability to influence at all levels of the organization to build a robust and sustainable change management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead Change Management Strategy: Design and implement a company-wide change management program, ensuring it is scalable, adaptable, and aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Create Standards and Methodologies: Establish and document a standardized approach for change management processes, including planning, communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and performance metrics. Ensure consistency in execution across all departments and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Work closely with senior leadership, business units, and project teams to identify change needs and align on objectives. Design communication strategies that promote transparency, understanding, and buy-in for change initiatives.
  • Build Change Management Capabilities: Develop and deliver training programs, resources, and toolkits to enable teams across the organization to execute change management activities effectively.
  • Monitor and Measure Change Effectiveness: Implement metrics and feedback loops to assess the impact and success of change initiatives. Track progress, identify challenges, and continuously improve the change management approach based on data and lessons learned.
  • Ensure Consistency and Quality: Oversee the implementation of change management initiatives across the firm to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices. Provide guidance and support to business leaders and teams to drive successful adoption of change.
  • Foster a Change-Ready Culture: Champion the principles of change management within the organization. Advocate for and nurture a culture of continuous improvement, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption to the business.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or related areas, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role. Experience in developing and implementing large-scale change management programs is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and guide executives, managers, and employees.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with organizational goals while managing day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Change Management Expertise: Deep knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, with a track record of applying them effectively in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make informed decisions. Experience using change management tools and platforms to track and report on progress and outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in finance, insurance, technology, healthcare, and military preferred.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile practices and how they intersect with traditional change management frameworks.


 

Annual Salary

$128,000.00 - $224,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
