- You will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions to current constraints and business policies
- 15+ years in enterprise software or technology consulting, with at least 6-8 years focused on solution shaping, technical pre-sales, or GTM strategy
- Demonstrated experience managing or influencing a portfolio or book of business valued at $50+ million in total contract value
- Proven success in strategic sales and executive solutioning engaging senior technology and product executives
- Experience leading or shaping engineering transformation initiatives and legacy modernization programs across industries
- Familiarity and interest for underlying technical topics such as platform engineering, developer experience, monolith decomposition, AI for software engineering, mainframes, etc.
- Ability to articulate modernisation benefits and engineering improvement to business outcomes in terms of operational cost, TTM, talent retention, risk, strategic enablement
- Comfortable influencing CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Architecture, and industry leaders
- Deep experience in shaping complex modernisation and transformation deals with multiple stakeholders and long buying cycles
- Understanding legacy systems, modernisation approaches (e.g., rehost, replatform, refactor), modern architectures and engineering practices including microservices, event-driven, CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud-native platforms, software delivery metrics, and AI-assisted development.
- Knowledge of key drivers impacting software engineering in the enterprise (e.g., AI disruption, talent shortages, velocity pressure), digital transformation trends, regulatory and industry-specific modernisation triggers
- Familiarity with modernisation tooling ecosystems, transformation roadmapping frameworks, AI-assisted dev tools and engineering metrics
- You genuinely enjoy interacting with teammates from across the business and have a knack for communicating technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
- You love creating robust, scalable, flexible and relevant solutions that help transform businesses and industries
- You’re comfortable partnering directly with leadership teams (CTO/CIO/COO) to design technical strategies while simultaneously collaborating with senior IT groups in an advisory capacity
- You adapt effortlessly to uncertainty, embrace change and confidently make decisions with limited information to achieve positive outcomes
