Enterprise Architect
Location: U.S. or Canada - Remote
Allocation: 100%, available East, Central or Pacific Time
Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior/Staff Enterprise Architect to join a project team and contribute to our large-scale project in collaboration with end customer. As a Senior/Staff Enterprise Architect, you will leverage your expertise to design and develop solutions that drive business success. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for ensuring all business applications are built and deployed in a scalable, sustainable and reliable manner, ensuring interoperability and functionality that meets the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the PECO and Corp IT teams, translating technical design standards/requirements and ensuring architecture patterns align to those standards.
- Design and provide system architecture diagrams pertaining but not limited to Corporate IT systems such as HRIS, Finance, Core Services (Networking), CRM + Marketing, Okta/SSO, SaaS systems, and where applicable, GCP landing zones.
- Assist the Corporate IT technical stakeholders in understanding downstream/upstream technical dependencies and documenting them in architecture and technical documentation/knowledge management tools. The Enterprise Architect may facilitate these meetings directly with technical stakeholders/leads to gather this information.
- Participate in working sessions (including, but not limited to, stand up calls, JIRA/Trello board reviews, architecture working sessions) to discuss solution alternatives to Google native systems or SaaS/software in order to alleviate system/workflow gaps
- Work with the customer’s Corporate IT personnel to define Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for project handoff, documenting design decision and data flows
- Provide deep, technical architecture and enterprise-wide subject matter expertise.
- Build trusted advisory cross-functional relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution.
- Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices. Drive the capturing, developing, and sharing of best practices internally and externally to scale expertise to accelerate implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud and on-premise environment or in a large scale, complex customer-facing role.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills..
- Experience with implementing Cloud-Native Enterprise Applications at scale, from conception through full operational deployment.
- Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the business systems industry such as Workday, Workspace, SAP, Coupa, Okta/LDAP, JIRA, Slack, etc.
- Ability to speak publicly and deliver technical presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
