We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise-wide architecture strategy, governance, and digital transformation initiatives for large-scale enterprise programs. In this role, you will define target-state architecture, establish governance frameworks, and guide solution teams in designing scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the enterprise-wide target-state architecture across business, application, data, integration, and cloud domains.
- Chair / represent architecture review boards; review and approve solution designs against enterprise standards and non-functional requirements.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance: principles, reference architectures, standards, and an ADR (Architecture Decision Record) / scored-scoring methodology.
- Partner with account and delivery leadership to define multi-year architecture roadmaps and modernization strategy.
- Provide architecture leadership in presales: solution shaping, estimation guidance, and CxO-level advisory.
- Guide and mentor Solution / Technical / AI Architects; resolve cross-domain trade-offs and technical risk.
- Ensure security, compliance, and data-residency requirements (incl. Japan-specific) are embedded in the architecture.
- Act as trusted advisor to client CxO / CDO stakeholders, aligning technology decisions to business outcomes.
Requirements
Essential Skills/Experience:
- 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture leadership roles.
- TOGAF (or equivalent EA framework) with demonstrated application on enterprise engagements.
- Breadth across multiple domains: application, data, integration (API / event-driven), and cloud (AWS and/or Azure).
- Proven experience running architecture governance / review boards and authoring ADRs and reference architectures.
- Strong stakeholder leadership up to CxO / CDO level; able to defend architecture decisions to business and technical audiences.
- Experience supporting presales (solution shaping, estimation, proposals).
- Business level Japanese and English.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- CISSP or comparable security / governance certification.
- Cloud architecture certifications (AWS / Azure professional level).
- Enterprise integration patterns (EDIFACT, AS4, IBM MQ, Kong / Apigee API gateways).
- Domain experience in insurance, finance, retail, or construction.
- Familiarity with AI / LLM solution patterns and how they fit enterprise architecture.
- Cross-market delivery experience (Japan, US, APAC).
