Markon is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations.
Responsibilities- Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
- Ability to work in small teams or independently.
- Experience supporting senior government civilians.
- Ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and develop an integrated solution.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required:
- An Active TS/SCI with a current Counter Intelligence Polygraph (Preferably from this client).
- Bachelors of Science (in a technical domain) degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience OR:
- Masters of Science (in a technical domain) with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
- Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud.
- Experience integrating systems and tools in a cloud environment.
Desired:
- Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Experience with M365 and other enterprise networks, providers and tools.
