Job Description
ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for an Enterprise Architect for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.
Context
The client oversees the development and maintenance of some IT systems supporting policy activities as well as institution wide corporate needs. Some of these systems are also used by other organizations and the client assumes the role of service supplier, thus helping to enable the successful implementation of digital transformation efforts and policies.
In close collaboration with other services and customers, the client builds and operates solutions in the areas of Briefings and Speeches Management, Stakeholders’ interaction Management, Financial Sanctions, External Service Providers Management, Financial Intelligence.

- Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
Qualifications
Your profile
- University degree in Computer Science or equally relevant
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment on multiple large projects.
- Rapid self-starting capability and excellent team player
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
- Ability to understand, speak and write English C1 and French B1 would be considered an asset.
- Good ability to give technical and business presentations
- Excellent ability and practice to apply high quality standards
- Very good capability to write clear and structured technical and functional documents
- High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained contain personal and confidential data
Technical skills
- Technical and business leadership using agile scrum methodologies
- 5 years of experience in JAVA (8 and later versions) and Java EE.
- 3 years of experience in Angular. Experience with eUI framework would be considered an asset.
- 2 years of experience with Middleware systems such as Weblogic Application Server. Experience in migrating JEE applications from WebLogic 12c to 14c would be considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot framework.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Experience with security test tools (i.e.: Fortify or equivalent) and web site vulnerability scans
- Experience with DevSecOps of information systems, DevOps container or serverless /orchestration tools (ie: Docker, Ansible, Terrafom, buildpacks, Kubernetes, etc.) would be considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge in service-oriented architecture and REST web services, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable systems
- Very good knowledge in software architecture principles, design patterns, and associated modelling techniques, including BPMN and UML notations, with hands-on experience with relevant tools
- Experience with Atlassian collaborative tools (e.g., Confluence and Jira) and Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Visio)
- Very good ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture, design, and development
- Very good analysis and problem-solving skills
Certifications - any of the following would be considered an asset
JEE, Business Process Management, workflow patterns, microservice architectures and patterns, Domain Driven Design, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Complex event processing, API design and security.
