Job Overview:

We are seeking an Enterprise Application Integration Engineer on a contract basis to support a large-scale data integration initiative. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data integration and modern technologies like Informatica Cloud to modernize and streamline the integration of financial data systems. You will analyze the current integrations within existing financial systems and collaborate with management to develop a strategy for migrating these integrations to Informatica Cloud. Your responsibilities will include leading the migration of integrations, optimizing data processes for efficiency and security, and training and mentoring internal staff on how to leverage Informatica Cloud for future data integrations. Throughout the process, you will ensure that financial data processes are accurate, secure, and compliant while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integrations and/or ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development
• A minimum of 7+ years of Informatica Cloud Data Integration 
• A minimum of 3+ years of implementing Cloud Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse architectures with Snowflake Data Cloud
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Informatica Cloud data integration services like Cloud Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, App Integration, Data Quality and Cloud Data Governance Catalog.
• Experience with integration tools such as Informatica Cloud and Microsoft SSIS, and a proven track record of delivering successful data integration projects
• Demonstrated experience analyzing the impact of large-scale implementations on existing system interfaces and workflows
• Proven ability to develop strategies to migrate legacy interfaces to modern integration technologies, such as Informatica Cloud
• Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying data integration solutions, with a focus on financial data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
• Expertise in defining data element inputs and outputs for systems interfacing with financial management systems, including handling manual data entry, batch uploads, and data extraction
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (such as financial departments or business analysts) to gather requirements and develop data models for financial reporting
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions for financial data integration
• Hands-on experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing data integration tools, with a focus on security, efficiency, and compliance
• Experience in developing and executing comprehensive testing plans to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability
• Familiarity with data validation and ensuring that integrated solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and share best practices for using Informatica Cloud tools
• Experience developing training materials or documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and best practice adoption across teams.
• Hands-on experience working within Agile teams, participating in SCRUM ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to evolving project needs

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally for materials or office supplies

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Work experience can substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
• Informatica certifications or other relevant certifications in data integration

• Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm
• Requires availability from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm from Monday to Friday
• This is a hybrid position requiring the employee to work 3 days onsite at our Tallahassee office and 2 days remotely per week.
