Job Description SummaryAs the Enterprise Application Engineer, you will be working on multiple projects as a technical expert or internal consultant. Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce and Apttus CPQ/CLM Developer with good foundation in enterprise application development and a passion for emerging technologies like AI, Copilot, and Generative AI (GenAI). This role involves building scalable, intelligent solutions that enhance our commercial sales processes and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apttus CPQ/CLM and Salesforce Force.com platforms.

  • Build and customize product models, pricing rules, quote templates, and contract workflows.

  • Develop intelligent features using AI/ML modelsAgentforce, and GenAI tools to enhance user experience and automation.

  • Integrate Microsoft Copilot and other AI assistants into Salesforce workflows to improve productivity and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Develop custom components using ApexVisualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

  • Perform data migrations using tools like Apex Data LoaderX-Author, and Excel Connector.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems such as Oracle ERP using SOAInformatica, or other middleware technologies.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, design workshops, and sprint planning sessions.

  • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through testing and optimization.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or a related field.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of hands-on development experience in Salesforce and Apttus CPQ/CLM.

  • Experience in building custom functionalities and bolt-on capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Proficient in ApexVisualforceLWC, and Salesforce configuration/customization.

  • Proficient in AI/ML integrationAgentforce, or GenAI-based tools.

  • Familiarity with Copilot integration in enterprise environments.

  • Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

  • Solid understanding of CPQ/CLM processes, including product modeling, pricing, quoting, and contract lifecycle.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Iterative development environments.

  • Familiarity with JavaC#, Python or other object-oriented programming languages.

  • Exposure to performance testing and optimization techniques.

  • Ability to work with remote teams across time zones.

  • Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive learner with a passion for AI-driven innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals

  • Understands concepts of software deployments and configurations

  • Familiar with automation techniques and tools

  • Understands how to adapt applications on cloud computing platforms to drive cloud adoption

  • Understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics

  • Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals.

  • Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits

  • Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback

  • Applies values, policies, procedures and precedent to make timely, routine decisions of limited, clear choice

  • Resolves day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation.

  • Escalates issues that impact the client and/or strategic initiatives

  • Reacts open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas.

  • Considers different or unusual solutions when appropriate
