We are looking for a senior SAP ABAP developer with deep expertise in the design and implementation of SAP based solutions in the Material Management and Procurement processes. This role will be part of a global team that will drive the transformation of the Factory Procurement processes for Factory Materials, Equipment and Construction.
Main responsibilities:

• Use of technical expertise and business acumen to design, develop, implement and maintain cross-module SAP platforms, custom apps and systems to meet business requirements.

• Provide standards/guidelines for development, responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur

• Maximizing the use of SAP components and ensuring a seamless integration with the broader IT landscape.

• Contribute to the definition and delivery of backlog features as part of an Agile Persistent Team and perform system's configuration, working with IT Architects and Developers through the design, build, test and deploy phases.

• Ensure the quality of deliverables through efficient testing approaches and leverage automation tools where appropriate.

• Work with IT Production Support team on incident resolution, acting as Level 3 subject matter experts and leading Problem cases root cause analysis and resolution.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Computing or related field OR equivalent relevant industry experience (3+ years)

• 3+ years of SAP / ABAP experience

• 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain Procurement business processes (SAP MM)

• 2+ years experience in:

• Programming in SAP ABAP

• Object oriented programming (OOPs)

• Multiple integration techniques (e.g. Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC, XML)

• Advanced English level

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in one of the following:

• Programming in S/4 and Fiori

• Workflow and BRF, ABAP Unit Test

• CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., RevTrac, CHARM)

• Building custom Fiori apps and/or UI screen

• Technical knowledge in Fiori, UI5 and OData

• Development experience with Java, JAVASCRIPT, HTML, CSS, .Net and other languages

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)

• Knowledge of SAP Managed Gateway for Spend and Network (formally known as CIG -cloud integration gateway)
