About the Role
WorkWhile is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager - Hospitality to join our team and build long-term, trusting relationships with our enterprise hospitality and event clients. This role is focused on managing a portfolio of high-volume accounts, including catering conglomerates, national contract food service providers, sports and entertainment venue operators, and premier event management groups, ensuring they have the right workforce to keep operations running smoothly, especially during peak seasons, major event rollouts, and sudden booking surges.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for hospitality enterprise accounts, driving satisfaction, retention, and growth while acting as a strategic partner who understands the fast-paced, high-stakes nature of food service, catering, and venue management.
What You'll Do
Lead Account Relationship: Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters for enterprise hospitality and event clients, including staffing planning, shift fulfillment, and ongoing labor strategy.
Build Executive & Regional Alignment: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with regional event/culinary directors, general managers, corporate food service directors, venue concessionaires, and VP-level operations leaders.
Understand Industry Dynamics: Develop a deep understanding of each client’s operational environment, including hyper-seasonal staffing volatility, last-minute event bookings/cancellations, variable labor costs, and guest service standards, to proactively meet their workforce needs.
Drive Contract Growth & Retention: Maintain and grow client accounts, identifying upsell and expansion opportunities across regional event sites, venue networks, multi-unit properties, or new culinary/hospitality labor categories.
Act as a Trusted Advisor: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key hospitality accounts, aligning WorkWhile's workforce solutions to their operational goals, ROI targets, and guest experience standards.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Ensure timely and successful fulfillment of shifts in line with strict client SLAs, worker reliability metrics, and service quality expectations for high-profile events.
Transparent Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the progress of weekly, monthly, and quarterly workforce initiatives clearly to both internal operations teams and enterprise client executives.
Track & Forecast Metrics: Forecast and track key account metrics including fill rates, worker attendance/performance, client satisfaction scores, and revenue retention and expansion.
Deliver Business Reviews: Prepare regular account health reports and quarterly business reviews tailored to venue operators, contract food service executives, and catering leadership teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Sales team to expand WorkWhile's presence across new venue networks or regional operator groups, and collaborate with internal Operations teams to ensure fulfillment during peak periods (e.g., stadium game days, peak catering seasons, major conferences).
Issue Escalation & Resolution: Assist with challenging client requests or live-event operational escalations, providing quick and effective resolutions to minimize disruption to the guest experience.
What You Bring
Experience: 5-10 years experience as an Account Manager, ideally within the contract food service, event management, catering, venue operations, or flexible workforce solutions industries.
Deep Hospitality & Event IQ: A profound understanding of the logistics behind large-scale catering, stadium operations, corporate dining, and how workforce reliability directly impacts guest experience and margin.
Executive Presence & Influence: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, from regional culinary directors and venue GMs to VP-level hospitality executives.
Multi-Unit Expertise: Experience managing multi-unit, enterprise-scale hospitality accounts, venue networks, or multi-city event portfolios.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Solid experience with CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and Google Suite.
Track Record of Growth: Proven track record of delivering client-focused labor solutions, maintaining high customer retention rates, and hitting revenue growth/expansion targets.
Agility & Attention to Detail: Ability to juggle multiple complex enterprise accounts and fast-moving event timelines while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
