The Work You'll Do
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients optimize their use of Sovos compliance solutions. You will drive contract reviews and engage in meaningful discussions to identify opportunities for expanding client usage and ensuring compliance needs are met. By developing and executing a customer-centric sales strategy, you will build strong relationships and deliver impactful solutions. Your expertise in territory planning and understanding client portfolios will enable you to guide clients through their buying journey. You will also serve as a thought leader, sharing valuable insights and best practices to support client success and compliance.

More specifically, you will:

  • Review client contracts to identify opportunities for increased usage of Sovos products
  • Develop and execute sales engagement strategies focused on client needs and compliance
  • Manage and grow a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory
  • Deliver profitable new agreements and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build a track record of performance using multiple contract management approaches
  • Provide accurate sales data and forecasts in Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior with all stakeholders
  • Mentor and share best practices with the broader sales team

What We Need From You

  • 2+ years of account management and quota-carrying sales experience
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and environments preferred
  • Strong ability to grow and retain business while exceeding targets
  • Consultative sales skills with a focus on long-term client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions
  • Experience with procurement, legal, and renewal negotiations
  • Self-motivated team player with a drive to exceed targets and uphold integrity
