Role Summary/Purpose:
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for identifying and converting healthcare providers into CareCredit partners by guiding them through the enrollment process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. This role combines proactive sales outreach with operational execution, including prospect engagement, provider education, and coordination of enrollment documentation.
The Enrollment Specialist works directly with prospective providers to communicate the value of CareCredit, qualify opportunities, and manage enrollment submissions from initial contact through underwriting review and activation. Success in this role requires strong outbound engagement, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities while delivering a positive provider experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with healthcare providers through multiple lead channels including inbound inquiries, outbound calls, referrals, trade show leads, and marketing-generated prospects.
Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-up outreach to engage potential providers, qualify opportunities, and generate interest in CareCredit enrollment.
Utilize a consultative selling approach to identify key decision makers, understand provider needs, and communicate how CareCredit solutions support their practice and patients.
Present and educate providers on the benefits of CareCredit, address common objections, and guide providers through the enrollment process.
Translate CareCredit services, programs, and promotions into clear value propositions for providers.
Identify opportunities to expand relationships by introducing CareCredit to additional provider locations or affiliated practices.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with provider contacts to support enrollment completion and future engagement.
Accurately enter and manage lead, prospect, and account activity within Salesforce; maintain organized records and follow-up tasks to support pipeline management.
Review enrollment requirements with providers and assist in gathering required documentation to ensure accurate and timely submission.
Submit completed enrollment applications and supporting documentation to underwriting for review and partner with internal teams to resolve questions or account discrepancies.
Partner with internal teams to support provider onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from enrollment to activation.
Effectively manage a daily pipeline of leads and enrollment opportunities while maintaining consistent outreach and follow-up activity.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and key performance metrics.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
A Minimum 2 years of Inside or Outside Phone Sales experience
Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience
Prior experience in inside sales, outbound calling, or lead qualification environments preferred
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred
Comfortable conducting outbound calls and engaging providers through proactive outreach
Demonstrated ability to identify sales opportunities and convert qualified leads into new business
Strong client acquisition and prospecting skills
Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport and communicate value clearly
Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment while managing multiple leads, enrollments, and follow-up activities
Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
Skilled with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening skills and the ability to respond effectively to provider questions or objections
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver a positive provider experience
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across internal partners
Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving environment with new tools, processes, and technology
Passion for sales and delivering results
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Grade/Level: 07
The hourly rate range for this position is $25.50 - $35.00/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
