The Role

Job Description

We are looking to grow our team of Licensed Customer Care Professionals. This position is highly valued, as you are our customer’s primary point of contact. As such, Assurant is very much invested in your success in this role. Providing excellent and thorough customer service is our top priority!

Acting as the customer’s primary point of contact, you will:

  • Receive in-bound calls from customers about enrollments
  • Listen, solve problems, answer questions and work with them to find a resolution
  • Use your expertise to proactively make recommendations that will help customers avoid future issues
  • Provide exceptional, world-class service with every call
  • Make a connection, engage and build rapport with each caller

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to multi-task using technology while handling calls.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.

Shift details include:

  • Our business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST (8-5pm/9-6pm PST)
  • Shifts can change to meet business needs, so it is important that you have open availability.

We will train you:

  • In a combination of virtual “class room” & “on the job” training that is typically 4-6 weeks long but duration can vary
  • Class room training hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm PST with a lunch break

You will work remotely:

  • You are required to have strong and steady Internet services with the minimum Internet speed of 50Mbsp download and a minimum of 3Mbsp upload speed. You can test your Internet speed at www.speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider.

Pay Range:

$14.69 - $29.84

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
