Job Summary:
onsemi is currently seeking a hands-on Process Engineer. This person will utilize innovative concepts and best-known methods to improve and develop processes and products. The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, support, and training to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Troubleshoot process development issues and interacts with mechanical, electrical and software engineers to resolve issues
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
- Develops and implements process improvements and optimization projects.
- Provides development and troubleshooting
- Development of new processes and equipment
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process improvements/changes.
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments and statistical data analysis.
- Project leadership
- Perform routine plating bath analysis (e.g. concentration checks, pH, contamination indicators)
- Record and track chemical additions under supervision
- Ensure chemicals are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to procedures.
- Other tasks as needed or assigned

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience with JMP, Minitab, Tableau or similar software preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage conflict in a stressful environment.
- Understands and listens to team members and fosters a productive team environment.
- Handles multiple projects and priorities.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. in addition to experience working within shared work environments.
