As part of our expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to join its team. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.
An overview of your responsibilities:
This Technician position will require a hands-on individual that can work with manufacturing and production team to evaluate, implement, develop, and maintain solutions to complex manufacturing process.
In this role, you will:
Evaluate & Develop assembly processes based on manufacturing best practices.
Support the manufacturing process and suggesting improvements.
Support the time study evaluations & suggest ideas for improvement.
Support process engineer with activities related to the manufacturing process.
Provide work instructions updates based on feedback from failures and corrective actions.
Work with the process and design engineer to document and follow up corrective actions for process optimization.
Work with the engineering organization to define part exchange strategies in case of deviations to the manufacturing process.
Support run trials and provide feedback about feasibility.
Support, review and update training documents and work instructions.
Equipment troubleshooting as needed.
Minor operation of equipment involved in the production process.
Follow plant safety policies and procedures and proactively identify unsafe conditions.
Experience and Responsibilities
3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Knowledge on LEAN MANUFACTURING
Failure Diagnoses and root cause analysis
Participate on the H&S programs
Self-motivated individual, enthusiastic to learn and improvise, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
