Role Overview:
As an Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a cross-functional scrum team consisting of Java Developers, QA Automation Engineers, and Scrum Masters. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions for our mission-critical payments backend system while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

What you will do:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a scrum team to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with business goals.

• Design, develop, and oversee the maintenance of the core payments backend solution using Java Spring Framework and MySQL.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize work, identify technical solutions, and address challenges effectively.

• Ensure the team follows Agile principles and delivers high-quality code by promoting best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

• Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud technologies to optimize system performance and scalability.

• Provide technical and career guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Who you are:

• Proven experience as a technical lead or team lead in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• A strong background in software engineering with advanced Java programming skills and knowledge of the Spring Framework.

• Experienced in mentoring and supporting team members to grow both technically and professionally.

• Skilled at breaking down complex problems, managing priorities, and delivering innovative solutions.

• Solid experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

• Familiar with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL) and comfortable in Linux/UNIX server environments.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
