Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Work as an entry level engineer in a manufacturing plant that performs powder metallurgy, forging, welding, and machining of refractory metals and tool steels, thermal processing, and various inspection modalities.
- Support our existing team of engineers on projects such as EHS (environmental, health, and safety) data collection, analysis, and reporting, new product introduction, new machine installation, lean manufacturing/productivity improvements, cost reduction, and general plant operations.
- Complete all training within defined timelines.
- Comply with GEHC Quality Systems and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this position.
- Collect and analyze data, develop hypotheses, present conclusions and options, implement agreed upon solutions.
What is required of you:
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering from an accredited university.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Able to effectively balance multiple priorities.
- Good communications in written and spoken English.
- Intellectual curiosity!
