This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

The HPE Global Manufacturing and Fulfillment organization directs and supports our manufacturing partners to build servers, storage, networking, and racked solutions. The Solutions Engineering team supports the customization of all these solutions in several areas including assembly, test, rack assembly, rack test, performance optimized DataCenter build, test, and shipment. We work indirectly with customers to understand their unique requirements and convey those instructions to our regional manufacturing partners.

Engineering Program Manager role within the Solutions Engineering team is a single contributor role and it covers the management of the Factory Express portfolio. This is a portfolio of additional unique customer specific services we offer to complement the current Hardware and Software HPE offers as standard, these services can range from simple asset tagging hardware through to complex system settings / image load and then to the extreme of complex Rack customization.

How you’ll make your mark:
• Collaborate and work indirectly with the customer through sales or account teams and work with our EMEA regional partners 
• Understand of the portfolio of services we offer and the details within
• Work with sales or account teams to understand customer requirements and recommending services (Pre order)
• Validate configurations (Post order), validate the services included and the customer intent details provided
• Create relevant manufacturing work instructions and work with the partner on any factory reediness setup or capability required to support the given solution
• Manage the Release of customer orders to our manufacturing partners
• Manage Customer driven changes
• Manage issue resolution with our manufacturing partners
• Lead project work, process improvement, drive corrective actions, supporting global standardization
 

About you:

• You have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience

• You have technical knowledge of IT industry products; their functions and components

• You have typically 2 - 4 years of experience in manufacturing

• You have ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent English and local language is an advantage

• You have ability to effectively communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options

• You have knowledge of fundamental project management methodology

Salary starting from 2, 084 EUR per month gross
