Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Brazil-based DataHub squad, driving delivery of global Mappers and DataHub integrations. In this role, you will combine people leadership, delivery ownership, and hands-on technical guidance, collaborating closely with global teams (including KL and North America) to expand DataHub capabilities. You will play a key role in enabling Brazil as a global hub for DataHub self-service and integrations, while ensuring high engineering standards, predictable delivery, and strong stakeholder alignment.

- Lead and develop a team of engineers through coaching, performance management, and career growth, ensuring high engagement and ownership.
- Own delivery planning and execution in partnership with Product and global stakeholders, managing risks, dependencies, and commitments.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, critical paths, and engineering reviews, ensuring high-quality solutions.
- Drive full-stack delivery (Java/Spring + Angular or React), ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
- Collaborate closely with global teams (KL DataHub, North America, and regional partners) to expand integrations and platform capabilities.
- Ensure strong engineering practices across testing (unit, integration, automation) and CI/CD pipelines with safe release processes.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system reliability and operations.
- Promote inner-source contributions, improving reuse and alignment across global DataHub initiatives.
- Maintain high standards in security, compliance, and code quality using tools such as SonarQube and security scanning solutions.
- Drive stakeholder communication and alignment across regions, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and trade-offs.
- Support hiring processes and talent development, ensuring high hiring standards and team scalability.

- Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on backend and distributed systems.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and delivery ownership.
- Solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with full-stack technologies (Angular or React) and ability to guide end-to-end delivery.
- Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, reliability, and architecture reviews.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (including EKS), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with testing practices (unit, integration, acceptance automation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools such as OpenAPI, Jenkins, SonarQube, and security tools (e.g., Veracode or Checkmarx).
- Strong experience with stakeholder management in global environments, working across regions and time zones.
- Solid understanding of incident management, observability, and operational excellence.
- People leadership skills, with ability to coach, mentor, and grow engineers.
- Adoption of an AI-native mindset, using tools such as Cursor, Claude (or equivalent), MCP, and agentic workflows.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory;
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo/SP.
