We are growing fast, and we are now looking for an Engineering Manager to work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, Support and Product. You are a leader that will participate in senior technology strategy discussions, drive ideation across a distributed software team, develop implementation roadmaps and work with technical individuals to transform this into software products and solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, inspire, coach and mentor the team of software engineers by example and feedback
- Effectively manage the processes necessary to operate the team in the development of new products and solutions
- Champion application modernization with an ongoing commitment to industry-leading quality, reliability and security standards to continuously improve new and existing systems
- Provide technical leadership to and cultivate relationships with product managers, data scientists/engineers and software architects
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, data engineering, data science, software engineering to design reliable, scalable and robust end-to-end architectures
- Recruit engineers that are amongst the best in the industry, from outreach through close
- At ease leading or working in several different technical tasks concurrently
- Significant programming experience in “either” C#, JavaScript, Python, Go, “or” other like languages
- Substantial experience in cloud-based system configuration, programming, and deployment
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, agile software development methodologies and development principles
- Track record leading a team of software engineers in a startup environment
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

- Strong business acumen, able to align engineering efforts with business objectives to deliver impactful results.
- Engineering manager or team lead experience
- Strong expertise in at least one or two programming languages (C#, Java, Go).
- Experienced working in a cloud environment utilizing AWS, GCP, MongoDB, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, or similar technologies
