About the Role
We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the day-to-day of our engineering team. This is a pure people-management role - not a player-coach position. Your success is measured by your team's delivery and growth, not your own code output. You'll own work assignment, unblocking, and delivery tracking across in-house and partner engineers, act as the technical arm of our product team, and operate as the number two to our head of engineering.

Your Location
This position is remote eligible for candidates based in the United States area. The role may include occasional work at additional SERHANT. offices or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Candidates must live within the United States.

Skills Required
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of direct engineering management experience
- Experience managing distributed teams, including offshore or partner/vendor engineers across time zones
- Technical depth with TypeScript and Python stacks to evaluate technical direction and scope work
- Fluency with Linear or similar delivery tooling and Kanban-style workflows
- Experience partnering with product managers to turn requirements into well-scoped, buildable work
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and team workflow changes
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proptech or real estate experience
- Experience managing in-house and agency/vendor teams
- Prior experience as a tech lead before moving into management
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without present or future sponsorship
- Must reside in the United States
