Your role
Take ownership of the engineering strategy and delivery for Statista’s Acquisition & Registration domain, building the services that enable users to discover, sign up for, and purchase our platform while driving lead generation and conversion.
Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional engineering team of frontend, backend, and QA engineers by fostering a high-performing culture focused on growth, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
Partner closely with Product Management to deliver the product roadmap, balancing business priorities, technical trade-offs, and predictable execution.
Shape and evolve the technical architecture across acquisition and registration services, including sign-up, checkout, payments, product plans, upgrades, and the migration of legacy services to our modern technology stack.
Drive the adoption of AI-native engineering practices by integrating agentic development workflows, establishing quality standards, and applying AI tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
Stay hands-on with technology by contributing to coding, architecture, and technical decision-making while championing best practices in code quality, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
Your profile
10+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native environments, including experience leading and developing engineering teams
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, AWS, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Unleash, Jira, and experience working with PHP-based legacy systems
Proven experience designing scalable software architectures and modernizing legacy applications
Hands-on experience using AI-powered engineering tools and agentic development practices to improve software delivery
Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to balance business priorities and technical decisions
Excellent written and spoken English
