As a Engineering Manager you’ll be responsible for :

  • Product Engineering Managers are responsible to manager a team of Engineers.
  • Product Engineering Managers might have separate teams focusing on product approbation, cost engineering and engineering project management in view of alternative BoM changes, product reconfiguration, customization, and re-engineering to meet customer requirements.
  • Product Engineering Managers maintain a close relation with Product Mgt, R&D business and quality to ensure all changes are done properly and approved.

What you’ll do

  • Product Engineering Managers maintain a close relation with Product Mgt, R&D business and quality to ensure all changes are done properly and approved.

  • Product Engineering Managers and their teams are responsible for the Design FMEA after MS Commercial Release.

  • Product Engineering Managers manage the team budget and headcount plan. They active maintain organizational competences development plans (OCDP) to ensure competences are secured and succession plans are available. They are programing projects load versus team capacities to support projects execution

  • Product Engineering Manager and their team are accountable for the change management process in the manufacturing location(s) and hold a team that ensures Technical Project Documentation (TPD) is updated in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Your qualifications

  • Broadened specialized theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization to optimize the relevant processes.

  • NPI and project management techniques

  • Ability to interact with senior management , stakeholders and builds strong group of engineer

  • Ability to drive Product Improvements with regards to cost, quality and failure rate.

  • Ability to manages strategies and implementation of project related to Material changes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

  • 8+ years’ progressive experience in an industrial, NPI and project management techniques

Position is based in Camargo, Chihuahua.
