About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Development Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading web development teams, driving technical innovation, and delivering high-quality web applications. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction, architecture, and development of our web projects while ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical direction and guidance for the web development team.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex web applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, coding standards, and quality assurance.
Innovation and Improvement
- Drive technical innovation and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Encourage experimentation with new technologies and approaches to improve development processes and product offerings.
Customer Focus
- Understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with customers or clients to gather feedback and iterate on web applications.

Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex web applications.
- Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end development.
Leadership and Team Management
- Experience in leading and managing web development teams.
- Ability to set clear goals, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback.
- Experience in mentoring and developing engineers at different levels of their careers.

- Experience in implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in multiple front-end programming languages (e.g. Vue and React) and with a good understanding of software architecture.
- Experience with modern version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud services, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
