POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented and motivated summer intern to lead the redesign and enhancement of our internal work standards webpage. This is a fantastic opportunity for a web development or design student to make a significant impact on our organization's productivity and employee experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

1. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) a strong plus.
2. Design Sensibility: Understanding of user-centered design principles and visual layout techniques. Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) is beneficial.
3. Problem-solving: Ability to analyze existing webpage issues and implement creative solutions.
4. Communication & Collaboration: Effective communication with SMEs, team members, and stakeholders.

DUTIES:

• Redesign and Optimization: Collaborate with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to restructure webpage content and navigation for intuitive use.
• Web Development: Implement modern HTML coding, ensuring accessibility for screen readers and other assistive technologies.
• Visual Appeal: Design a visually engaging and readable layout for optimal user experience.
• Cross-Device Compatibility: Employ responsive design techniques for seamless access from desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Performance: Optimize the webpage for fast loading speeds and minimal downtime.
• Documentation & Training: Create user-friendly guides and conduct training sessions to facilitate a smooth transition to the new webpage.
• Assist with Electronics Manufacturing Tasks: Beyond the primary project, the intern will have the opportunity to assist with other electronics manufacturing tasks
