Support Production by identifying and implementing improvements that ensure a more stable process, the highest quality, and the lowest possible cost. Establish daily, weekly, and monthly priorities aligned with plant objectives and communicate them effectively, promoting continuous improvement in safety, employee development, product quality, on‑time delivery, and cost performance.

  • Provide guidance and support for the professional development of team members. 

  • Collaborate closely with other team leaders and departments to ensure organizational alignment and efficiency. 

  • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities. 

  • Manage assigned resources effectively and ensure compliance with schedules and quality standards. 

  • Serve as a liaison between the team and management, communicating progress and challenges effectively. 

  • Promote innovation and proactive problem-solving culture within the group. 

  • Support achievement of annual corporate objectives and value stream goals to ensure a successful achievement of financial metrics and goals

  • Lead and coordinate the technical analyses necessary to resolve product- or component-related issues appropriately and as quickly as possible.

  • Lead the team to ensure the achievement of VST goals.

  • Coordinate the group's OOTs. Receive, coordinate, investigate and follow up on Out of Tolerance reports issued to part owners within the group. Ensure they are handled in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

  • Coordinate equipment, fixture, and process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure appropriate implementation in the manufacturing lines. 

  • Coordinate manufacturing documentation including MPIs, BOMs, NCRs, Routers, ECNs, and Lab Notebooks. 

  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, corrective and preventive actions, policies, and procedures. 

  • Support occupational health and safety requirements and programs. 

  • Using appropriate problem-solving techniques, document any nonconformities identified during the process within the area of responsibility.

  • Coordinate initiatives to improve production lines by providing clear guidance and training to work teams, helping them to reduce process variability, increase productivity and prevent nonconformities, thereby ensuring product quality.

  • Develop, implement and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

  • Attend Design Verification meetings and provide appropriate feedback to ensure the proper line transfer process.

  • Review and approve transfer documents for new products, ensuring they comply with current product standards.

What will you need to be successful?

Successful candidates would need the following:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline

  • Advanced English (80% plus).

  • Certification: CPIM, CQE, Black Belt are preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in medical device industry or equivalent in manufacturing and engineering environments.

Competencies:

  • Leadership, teamwork and people management.

  • Technical problem solving and decision making.

  • Communication.

  • Manufacturing engineering experience and quality system knowledge.

  • Project management.

Physical Demands:

  • Weightlifting: Medium weight (5.1 kg – 30 kg).

  • Working Position: 50/50% Sitting / Standing.

  • Repetitive Motion: Computer use and equipment interaction.
