The Role: Engineering Drafter – Engineering Services
The Engineering Drafter supports Engineering Services by preparing, updating, and maintaining accurate engineering drawings and technical documentation to support manufacturing and engineering activities.

What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with engineers to create detailed schematics and drawings using SolidWorks.
Perform Manufacturing Redlines and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
Support Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and drawing updates during manufacturing changes.
Support new product development and industrial equipment documentation activities.
SolidWorks experience preferred.
Prepare and update engineering drawings based on engineering inputs and redlines
Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and documentation standards
Support engineering changes and project documentation
Coordinate with engineers and cross-functional teams to clarify design intent
Additional Role Scope (Incorporated):
Assist in drafting new product development systems.
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure precise and high-quality designs.
Any other duties as assigned.
What We Seek:
Proficiency in SolidWorks for creating and maintaining 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, layouts, and assemblies, with the ability to expand into more complex system‑level designs
Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) systems to support drawing control, revision management, and release workflows in a structured engineering environment
Ability to produce mechanical drawings, with developing capability in structural layouts and wiring diagrams as project scope and experience grow
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), with the ability to correctly apply GD&T on drawings and further develop proficiency through hands‑on project experience
Ability to interpret and incorporate mechanical, electrical, and structural design inputs into complete and accurate drawing packages
Willingness and aptitude to grow technical depth, system understanding, and drafting responsibility in support of increasingly complex engineering programs
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Drafter.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems, with the ability to produce structural layouts, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings, and apply GD&T appropriately on engineering drawings.
Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) creation.
Design/build experience in an industrial equipment environment.
Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
