Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to our Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, you will analyze, plans and implement process improvement needs. Evaluate and model existing processes. Organize and facilitate projects. Identify improvement options. Develop metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collecting data to identify cause problems. Measure performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls. Manage resources, including members, to complete projects. Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. Deploy plans from conception through to close. Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control courses.

Main responsibilities:

  • Process all internal and external ECN requests. Coordinate activities with Work cell staff. Receive and interpret changes requested.
  • Update SAP for BOM, new part numbers and drawings.
  • Maintain 100% BOM accuracy
  • Manage effectivity dates for BOM in SAP together with planning.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to eliminate excess and obsolete.
  • Document, coordinate and gather approval for all financial impact analysis generated by ECN
  • Monitor and update ECN implementation dates. Communicate to customer updates
  • Coordinate weekly ECN meeting with Work cell.
  • Advanced English.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct related experience
  • SAP/ERP Experience.
  • Team contributor, comfortable in leading and multicultural teams.
  • Analytical, demonstrated and project management skills.
  • Proficient in dealing with language and cultural barriers.
