Notice on the use of artificial intelligence in our recruitment process

To ensure our hiring process is transparent, we want to inform all applicants that we utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, including those integrated into our recruitment vendors' platforms. Your role, your impact

As an Engineering Change Control (ECC) Specialist, you’ll ensure engineering changes are fully compliant with BP‑PROC‑01081, maintaining configuration and management equilibrium, validating design‑basis integrity, and supporting safe, regulated plant operations. By applying ECC standards, you’ll guide the complete engineering change lifecycle, from scope definition through commissioning and turnover, while ensuring full traceability and audit readiness. Through rigorous use of ECC and risk‑informed processes, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding nuclear safety pillars, including industrial, reactor, radiation, and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

  • Create, manage, and process Engineering Changes (ECs) through the ECC lifecycle in Maximo in alignment with BP-PROC-01081, including selection of appropriate EC types (e.g., CIC, IEE, NEAR, PER, Equivalent Design Change, Modifications), stakeholder engagement, task execution, and configuration management;
  • Progress ECs through all Maximo lifecycle phases (INIT, DEV, DEF, PREP, EXECAUTH, TURN, CLOSEOUT) and ensure alignment with gate requirements and DCP/DCN maturity;
  • Support risk-informed engineering changes (RICs) and the proper use of screening forms FORM-14431 (Modifications) and FORM-14452 (Item Equivalency) as part of EC classification;
  • Execute EC governance activities including stakeholder reviews, approvals, verification tasks, and configuration management;
  • Complete ECC deliverables including RTMs, design outputs, and commissioning documentation;
  • Log, track, and resolve technical and stakeholder issues using Maximo Issues Tracking and other ECC Change Request (CR) processes;
  • Support field execution, commissioning validation, and turnover of ECs, including participation in EC revisions and use of Field Modification Tracking Sheet (FMTS), and Field Change Notice (FCN) processes to manage changes arising during execution or post-turnover, ensuring configuration updates are validated and documented;
  • Ensure compliance with ECC quality standards, Configuration Management, and regulatory requirements;
  • Manage EC revisions, replication, cancellation, turnover, and closeout within Maximo in accordance with ECC procedural requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree (or similar post-secondary education) in computer science or engineering, with demonstrated academic excellence;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the field of ECC and using Maximo;

  • Working knowledge of BP-PROC-01081 and related procedures and standards (e.g., BP-PROC-00615, BP-PROC-01122, BP-PROC-00982, BP-STND-00109) required for full ECC lifecycle management;
  • Comfortable in client‑facing situations, and excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with limited oversight;
  • Results‑driven and flexible.
