The Role

Engineering Build Manager is responsible for all the engineering build activities for a new NVIDIA product, leading multi-functional teams to successfully plan and execute the HW prototype (boards & systems) builds, ensuring all internal customers have enough prototypes for their respective development and test activities with high quality standards and the correct HW & SW configuration during the project development phase.

What you'll be doing:

  • Independently create and update plans that achieve project objectives

  • Identify/track key milestones, evaluate/acquire/handle resources

  • Resolve accurate number of prototypes (boards & systems) needed by each group for each prototype engineering build

  • Interact with suppliers and vendors

  • Define tasks, drive assignments and lead the progress

  • Optimize engineering build planning, cost, schedule, logistics, staffing, testing, communication/reporting, implementation and execution along with the CM/OEM partners

  • Identify risks and develop/execute risk management plans and Ensure proper prototype distribution in timely manner

  • Regularly provide leadership team with project status reports

  • Assist in improving existing models, processes and help feedback to improve infrastructure

What we need to see:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing/operations environment

  • BS EE/IE degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong manufacturing and R&D background and Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of NVIDIA

  • Very strong leadership, facilitation, problem solving and project management skills are required to be successful in this role

  • Consistent track record of leading the release of quality projects into manufacturing

  • Experience in working with suppliers, vendors and/or customers

  • Capability to quick learn, understand, communicate and integrate technical concepts and issues

  • Ability to travel, as needed. This role could exceed 30% travel for certain projects

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
