MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving alignment on priorities across key functions: safety, quality, productivity, people engagement and cost management.
- Leading routine performance management of engineering and overall equipment efficiency, driving company productivity system towards continuous improvements/operational excellence.
- Work with the management team to identify performance goals and provide ongoing monitoring and management of performance.
- Continually assess and proactively identify technical issues against manufacturing goals and provide immediate feedback; assess and determine best course of action in conjunction with the management team.
- Work with the Plant Manager and other senior management on essential internal leadership tasks related to administration, strategic, and organizational planning.
- Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the manufacturing department.
- Working with HR to develop a winning and engaged manufacturing team.
- Ensure maintenance & engineering information is timely and accurately filed, maintained and reported.
- Develop Engineering project plans for Data Analytics, Automation & Digitization; coordinate projects; communicate changes and progress.
- Work closely with the Plant Manager and Senior Management Team to manage priorities and delivery of projects based on the business needs.
- Engage and lead special projects (such as operational process assessment and improvement projects, operational metrics definition, cost analysis, etc.); prepare executive reports and presentations when needed.
- Seek out and implement line/equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, personnel engagement & development, and cost efficiency.
- Consult Engineering Sr. Manager and Plant Sr.Manager to develop and implement short-term and long-term goals.
- Ensure technical leadership and excellence is maintained by overseeing the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required talents.
- Engineering Safety Coordination – Provide assistance to the Plant Manager and Safety Team for the safe operation of the facility and safety of all personnel, including customers, government agencies, collaborating institutions, contractors and visitors.
- Support and drives innovation in partnership with process owners and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Conduct regular coaching to motivate the team, and/or mentoring in facilitation of methods/operation tools.
- Lead engineering team to ensure compliance with the internal/external audits.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- A University degree graduate in Engineering/ /Technology.
- Hands-on experience in the areas of Preventive Maintenance planning and management, Equipment Repair & Maintenance management, and Spare Parts Management.
- Experience in end-to-end project management, i.e. engineering projects or business projects.
- Technical Engineering (Specialized either in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil).
