Job Description Technology Controls Testing Lead
Tampa, FL
Description
As part of Assessment & Assurance, the Assessment Onboarding team is responsible for onboarding the assessment of controls into the Technology Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation (TRACE) programs. The Assessment Onboarding and Integration team acts as a Subject Matter Expert on how control assessments should be conducted and works with Control Domain Authority teams on implementing the necessary steps to increase the scope of controls assessed within the TRACE programs. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in technology risk & controls, assessment experience, and a proven track record in working on complex processes and technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engagement with Control Domain Authority Standard Managers and Control Owners to define and develop control assessment requirements for technology controls
  • Collaborate with control owners, product teams and engineering teams to define requirements for data-driven assessments using the GRC assessment ecosystem
  • Coordinate implementation of control assessment across GRC ecosystem with GRC program and engineering teams and assessment program teams
  • Lead prioritization of control assessment onboarding for their respective Control Domain and manages engagement between assessment program teams, Control Domain Authority stakeholders and GRC objectives
  • Develop and maintains strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted partner with GRC program and engineering teams, Control Domain Authority members and LOB Information Security Managers
  • Communicates controls onboarding progress with key stakeholders, develops recommendations and provide accurate metrics and management reports on a timely basis
  • Drive adherence to key governance activities for the Assessment Onboarding team to ensure consistency in operations and adherence to process and procedure requirements


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum 5-7 years of technology risk and controls experience, risk-based consulting, risk assessments, audit and/or regulatory activities.

  • Deep knowledge and prior experience in controls evaluation all technology control domains
  • Experience with implementation and oversight of technology risk and controls, coordination of activities for key stakeholders and assessing an IT control environment
  • Prior experience in planning, coordination and implementation and the ability to work across teams and functions to execute and deliver


Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of GRC technology & controls monitoring concepts in order to interact with technology product owners
  • Working knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and other data management concepts
  • Experience operating in environments that are heavily governed under compliance, regulatory, or risk reduction controls
  • Knowledge of process-focused methodologies for IT related activities (Change Management, Incident Management, and SDLC)
  • Experience using JIRA for program management a plus

CISA or CRISC certification

High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
