Role Summary
The Senior System Test Engineer - is responsible for Leading and developing System Test Plan and Strategy for various ADAS product at the system test level
Key Responsibilities

  • Design process for system test activity at bench level, vehicle level
  • Development of system test plan and system test timing.
  • Review system test specifications.
  • Develop a strategy for functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Perform review of system test specifications, test report
  • Review defects and analyze system test impact for the SW changes
  • Work with system test engineers to execute system test plans.
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of all system bench testing/system test automation/vehicle testing related activities for various ADAS projects
  • Review and mentor system test engineer system test work products such as test design, test cases, test report and defects


Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years experience regarding Responsibility / Main Activities (listed above) in serial development or comparable experience in automotive (mandatory); electronic (preferable) industry
  • Working knowledge of system test process part of product life cycle
  • Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Video Scope etc.
  • Hybrid, Hydraulic, ECU, or ADAS product/test experience desired
  • Experience with automotive requirements and design preferred
  • Working knowledge of product development and product testing engineering practices in the automotive field
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC standards
  • Working knowledge of HIL procedures and equipment
  • Working knowledge in a planned and structured approach
  • Working knowledge of problem-solving techniques
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques
  • Working knowledge of configuration management, and project monitoring and control techniques (preferably PTC/MKS)
