We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help enhance, support, and troubleshoot our services. We need someone with a wide breadth of knowledge, experience, and interest in a range of technology domains. We deal with many different technologies; a desire to learn and a hunger to work on challenging projects is a must.

This is a senior role that can drive initiatives to completion and find solutions to complex problems. With a team of Site Reliability Engineers you will help define and follow best practices for our SRE teams in all areas of observability while working closely with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage, troubleshoot, and fix production problems in every layer of the stack
• Lead and contribute to design, develop, and improve logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Work with product teams make use of tooling built by SRE and DevOps teams
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems
• Mentor engineers and help develop their careers and technical skills
• Work across teams to provide architectural guidance and to drive large projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Expertise with containerization and container orchestration
• Direct experience with infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting systems
• Strong understanding of and experience with SRE and DevOps principles
• Solid understanding of microservices environments and distributed systems
• Experience leading troubleshooting efforts on complex systems
• Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to a wide audience
