The Team You’ll Work With

The Connect team builds third-party integrations with HRIS and Accounting systems so Carta customers can take full advantage of our product suite. This includes popular HRIS systems such as Rippling, BambooHR, and Workday. Our team is responsible for collecting and normalizing this data, ensuring it meets our accuracy and quality bar, and exposing it to core products.

By joining our team you will get exposure to Carta's Identity pillar, offering opportunities to work with our amazing team of developers, product managers, machine learning engineers and data scientists to find creative ways to use the data we collect. You will work closely with other teams across the company, understanding our goals and how we can supercharge Carta's capabilities.

The Problems You’ll Solve

  • Ingest and normalize third-party data from a variety of systems.
  • Build a scalable integration framework to consume data from multiple sources.
  • Design easy-to-use APIs and events for core product teams.
  • Improve user experience for setting up new integrations.
  • Improve the accuracy of our data and the health of our integrations.

About You

You have 5+ years of full stack or backend engineering experience building scalable production systems. You possess strong technical skills and enjoy working with various stakeholders across a fast-growing organization. You’re a strong communicator and enjoy building thoughtful solutions that truly drive business objectives. You’re not a bystander -- you’re an active participant and have a strong opinion on how software should be built. Some knowledge of and interest in financial technology or 3rd party integrations is great.

Our tech stack is Python, React and Postgres. Prior experience with these technologies is ideal, but not required. Working as a tech lead and/or using Domain Driven Design principles in a previous role is a plus. We have people in our team who will help you figure it out, grow your skills and help you learn -- and ideally, learn from you too. We believe in transparent learning without ego.
